FG, State, LGAH distributed N1.57TR as an income allocation for March

Three levels of government on Monday share the number of N1.57 trillion as an income allocation for March.

Director of the Press and Public Relations, General Federation Accounting Firm (OAGF), Bring Mokwa, revealed this in the communication issued at the end of the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) in Abuja.

According to Communike, the total revenue of N1,578 trillion consists of legal revenue N931,325 billion, value added tax (VAT) from N593,750 billion, and income of electronic money transfer levies (EMTL) of N24,971 billion.

The sound: “This also consists of income differences from N28,711 billion.

“Total gross income N2,411 trillion is available in March.

“The total reduction in the collection fee is N85,376 billion, while the total transfer, intervention, and refund are N747,180 billion.

“Gross legal income N1,718 trillion was received for March 2025. This is higher than the number of N1,653 trillion received in February 2025 amounting to N65,422 billion.

“N637,618 billion gross income is available from VAT. This is lower than N654,456 billion available in February by N16,838 billion.

“Of the total N1,578 trillion revenue, the federal government received N528,696 billion and the state government received N530,448 billion.

“LGC receives a total number of N387,002 billion, and the total number of N132,611 billion (13 percent of mineral income) is distributed to profitable countries as derivation income.

“In N931,325 billion in legal income, the federal government received N422,485 billion and the state government received N214,290 billion.

“LGC receives N165,209 billion, and the number of N129,341 billion (13 percent of mineral income) is distributed to profitable countries as derivation income.

“From the N593,750 billion VAT revenue, the federal government received N89,063 billion, the state government received the N296,875 billion, and the LGC received the N207,813 billion.”

“A total of N3,746 billion was received by the federal government from N24,971 billion EMTL, while the state government received N12,485 billion and LGC received N8,740 billion.

“Oil profit tax (PPT) and company income tax (CIT) have increased rapidly while royalties of oil and gas, EMTL, VAT, Customs and Excise, import duty, and cet levies recorded are reduced.”
