In a historic development, the first batch of trucks belonging to the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited has started loading premium petrol (PMS), popularly known as petrol, at its gantry.
The development was announced by Dangote Group in a video uploaded on its X platform showing trucks stationed at the gantry on Sunday.

βThe first batch of trucks is ready to load PMS at the Dangote Oil Refinery,β the company said.
This development follows the deployment of NNPC trucks to the petrol loading yard at the Dangote refinery on Saturday.
According to NNPC spokesperson Olufemi Soneye, he disclosed that as of Saturday afternoon, NNPCL had deployed over 100 trucks, with hundreds more on the way.
βIn preparation for the scheduled loading of gasoline at the Dangote Refinery on Sunday, September 15, 2024, NNPC Ltd. has mobilized trucks to the refineryβs fuel loading gate at Ibeju-Lekki,β NNPC said.
βAs of Saturday afternoon, NNPC Ltd. had deployed more than 100 trucks, with hundreds more on the way.β
