Following an important decision by the Kenya High Court who stated the abduction and performed songs from the native Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu from the country to Nigeria, as invalid and illegal, the native Biafra (IPOB) had asked the Nigerian government to end with the Biafra (IPOB).
The Pro-BIFRA agitator who submitted a request in a statement on Monday by the Director of Legal Affairs, Research and Communication of Global, Lawyedikachi Ifedi, said that the Kanu’s sustainable trial by the Federal Government was a national disgrace and a clear indication that the government continued to carry out acts of terrorism and violations of domestic and international law.
Ifedi, who described the Kenya Court’s decision as a judicial indictment of what he called the “criminal operation” carried out under the supervision of the former Nigerian Attorney General, Abubakar Malam, said the only way the Nigerian government would justify itself to stop the Kanu trial.
“This decision is not only a justification for the old position of Mazi Kanu. This is a direct judicial indictment of violations of the law enshrined by the Nigerian government,” said Ifedi.
“That now explained Nigeria on various accusations of violations of agreements, terrorism sponsored by the state, and violations of human rights.
“Every Nigerian, Civil or Military Officer, who is involved in the abduction of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu from Kenya, with Nigerian legal operations, carrying out acts of terrorism,” the statement added.
Referring to the African charter about human and people’s rights, Ifedi quoted Article 12 (4) which prohibits the eviction of each national which is legally recognized without the right legal process, if Id urges Judge James Omotosho from the Federal High Court in Abuja, who is in the cane of trial, to suspend trials and start a review of zero review.
“Justice must begin with recognition of mistakes. Nigeria must free Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and end this trial immediately, or permanently risk being colored as an evil country that has criminalized the constitution itself.
“A trial that was built on illegality itself is illegal. The court that closed his eyes for jurisdiction harassment loss of moral and legal legitimacy,” Ifedi stated.
