I Tried NYC’s FAMOUS Soul Food Restaurant… Where’s the SOUL?! 😭

They say Melba’s in Harlem serves the BEST SOUL FOOD in New York City! 🍗🔥 But is this legendary restaurant really worth all the hype? Or is New York soul food just DIFFERENT from what we get down south? 👀😭 You know I had to stop by MELBA’S RESTAURANT in Harlem and see what all the fuss is about! And of course, the VIP needs the BEST table in the building! 👑💰 Melba’s is famous for its authentic Southern food, especially its fried chicken, mac and cheese, and legendary Harlem hospitality. But everyone knows I don’t care how famous a restaurant is…if the food isn’t good, I’M GOING TO SAY SOMETHING! 😂💯 And honey… we had some PROBLEMS! 😭 🍗 Famous Fried Chicken: Beautifully seasoned to the bone, but was it juicy enough to impress me? 🧀 Macaroni and Cheese – A HUGE portion with that golden cheese crust, but something about those noodles had me asking questions! 👀 🐟 Fried Catfish – Now everyone KNOWS I love catfish, so when this came out, I had serious concerns! 😩 🍠 A$AP Yams: Harlem’s famous sweet potatoes! But are they providing food for the Southern soul? 🐂 Jamaican Oxtails – I brought a REAL Jamaican woman from Kingston to help me judge them! 🇯🇲🔥 🥬 Green cabbages: fresh, seasoned and straight to the point! 🥔 Potato Salad – WAIT NOW! This might have been the biggest surprise of the entire meal! 😂🔥 Some dishes made me question EVERYTHING, while others had me ready to take the entire container home in my Louis Vuitton bag! 👜💰 But the real question is… DOES MELBA REALLY HAVE A SOUL?! 😭 I give everyone my REAL ratings, no sugarcoating, no special treatment, and no fake reviews. Just the truth from someone who KNOWS good food!
