Ibbb attributes Mokwa Flood to an act of God

Minna (basic reporter) General Ibrahim Babangida, a former military president of Nigeria, described a flood that took place in Mokwa, in the state of the Niger, which caused over two hundred lives as an act of God, adding that it is unfortunate.

The former military president who received the delegation of the state government led by the deputy governor, Yakubu Garba, on a tribute to the saving in his uphill residence, Minna has commensurate with the people of Mokwa and the entire state of the Niger on the recent flood disaster.

“What happened in Mokwa is unfortunate, but is ordered by Allah. It is beyond our powers, and this is why we should continue to pray for the souls of the deceased,” Ibb said.

He praised the administration of the Governor Umaru Bago for his development steps and asked for sustenance, even if he assured his continuous support.

The deputy governor of the state of the Niger, Yakubu Garba, who led the delegation of the state government said that the visit had to look for his blessings and his paternal advice.

He said the government was well aware that retired general was disturbed by the recent accident in Mokwa and appreciated it for his paternal role in any time.

Garba said that the people of the State and Nigeria, in general, appreciates its diligent service to the country and has assured him that the state government will not miss the state government as it remains a pillar of hope for the nation.

Basic journalists report that Ibb as a former military president is affected with state residents to continue praying for the souls of the deceased.
