Jaywon urged fans not to misinterpret the closeness with Davido as hatred of Whizkid

Musician Nigeria Jaywon has responded to the continuous rumors of his relationship with Afrobeats artists Davido and Wizkid,

He insisted that his intimacy with Davido should not be interpreted as hostility with Wizkid.

The “this year” witch mentions such an assumption “absurd” in a video posted on his tiktok channel, rejecting the idea that his relationship with Davido implies that he opposes Wizkid.

In the video posted on social media, Jaywon explained that his friendship with one artist was not the same as hostility with another, because critics might believe in several places.

Jaywon said, “People -people like to make beef where not. I am cool with Davido, yes. But that does not automatically make me enemies of Wizkid. I respect them both for what they have contributed to the industry.”

He then expressed frustration to fans and blogs who constantly triggered competition between artists.

“The fans who created these divisions. This industry is quite large for everyone. We are all just trying to make good music and feed our families.”
