For two decades, Jobisports FC Amaimo did something special: silently taking care of young boys in players and players in men. What started as a small community team in 2005 became one of the most respected basic clubs of IMO State, producing players who continued to shine in the big stages.

From the under 13 to the senior side, Jobisports FC has built a structure that reflects the discipline, consistency and a deep love for the game. Weekly week, the boys train on Dusty Amaima Community Field – chasing dreams with passion in their eyes and hope in their hearts.

Over the years, the club has been a regular face in tournaments and scouting programs throughout Nigeria: Lagos, Abuja, Edo, Akwa Ibom, Kaduna and other states. Each journey adds to their history of hard work and persistence.

And the results speak for themselves. Some of the greatest football names in Nigeria once wore the Jobisports shirt – the defender of Super Eagles Kenneth Omenero and the striker Terem Moffi with each other. Their travel from the Amima field to international football are proof that something really special is happening here.

“Our vision from the first day was to help these guys believe in themselves,” says Akujobi, founder and owner of the club. “We have been doing it for 20 years and seeing some of our players playing for Nigeria today is worth it.”

Even now, Jobisports FC continues to do waves. The team is currently taking part in the match in Africa Tournament (Goat), one of the greatest youth football competitions that connect the clubs in Nigeria and Ghana. Their participation has again shown the club’s commitment to exhibit young talents at higher levels of competition.

Jobisports FC is more than a football team: it’s a family. The coaches, players and supporters all share the same dream: seeing Amanimo become a fertile ground for the next generation of football stars.

While the sun sets behind the hills of Ikeduru, the boys are still out of training, sweating, laughing and learning. The shirts can be worn, the tone can be rough, but the spirit is strong.

For 20 years, Jobisports FC AMAIMA has shown that size can grow from anywhere, even from a small field in the state of imo.
