ENYIMBA FC The president, Ambassador Nwankwo Kanu, has thrown the glove to the new signings of the club, challenging them to rekindle the domain of the people’s elephant on the national and continental fronts.
In a meeting that increases morality with newcomers, Kanu emphasized the need for professionalism, unity and a winning mentality as the team prepares for the 2025/26 campaign.

He reminded them of the club’s legacy and urged them to take the opportunity to bring fans.
“We arrived close last season, but Close is not enough. This is a new opportunity to provide ABA happiness and beyond,” said the former Super Eagles captain.
With Enyimba to participate in the High Profile Eko International Cup from July 6, Kanu described the tournament as more than just heating games. “It is a fire test for the goals of our league and a general essay for our return to continental football,” he said.
The tournament, which will feature powers from West and South Africa, including 3SC, Remo Stars, Accra Hearts of Oak, Supersport United, Ikorodu City and Kalon Stars FC, will give Enyimba a valuable platform to evaluate tactical preparation and integrate new talents into competitive conditions.
Kanu’s Rallying call indicates a meaningless approach since Enyimba aims to claim the Nigeria Premier Football League title (NPFL) and rekindle its reputation, once feared throughout the African continent.
With pressure assembly and high expectations, the mission is clear for the eight times Nigerian champions: dominate the NPFL, shine in Africa and restore ABA’s pride.
