Kanu’s lawyer, Ejimakor, accused the Nigerian government of tolerating selective injustice against the Igbo people.

The chief legal adviser to jailed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader Nnamdi Kanu, Aloy Ejimakor, has accused the Nigerian government of tolerating what he called selective injustice against the Igbo people.

Ejimakor who made the allegation in a post on his official X account, said previously, the Igbo did not suffer much selective injustice under the administrations of former Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan, but they became an endangered species during the Muhammadu Buhari administration and the situation has worsened under Tinubu.

“What is now emerging (thanks to social media) as institutionalized “selective injustice” against #Ndigbo has always been there,” Ejimakor wrote.

“The people of the South-East have repeatedly alleged marginalization, a situation that has fueled the agitation for Biafra.

“It declined slightly under OBJ & GEJ, peaked under PMB & has reached genocidal proportions. Shocking that TINUBU tolerates it.”
