LG polls: the aspiring refuses the primary APC results as fraud

Mr. Idowu Daramola (Ebano), an aspiring president of the APC for Odi-Olowo/Ojuwood Lcda, protested the primary electoral result, describing it as ridiculous and unfair.

On Monday, in a beautiful Morfdeen declaration, spokesman for the Ebano countryside team, Daramola labeled the result as illogical and fraudulent.

Freedomonline recalls the president of the APC electoral committee, Babaunde Ogala, San, said the winner of Lawal Jakande of the primaries on Saturday at the APC secretariat.

Fifty -five of the 57 expected candidates for the Presidency of the APC for the elections of the Council of Lagos of 12 July emerged through the primary exercise just ended of the party.

Reacting, Daramola said: “The announced results are predetermined, far from the realities of the day and not a reflection of the true electoral result.

“This illogical fraud of daylight is unacceptable, non -democratic and harmful to the democracy of the internal party.

“Declare that Hon. Idowu Daramola (Ebano) has marked Zero is ridiculous, false and completely unacceptable for us and the community.”

He questioned how someone who received 17 votes out of 25 could be credited with zero.

“Sign me zero is a parody of justice, an affront to be reasoned and an insult to the delegates of Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye Lcda.

“This shameful and desperate manipulation must be stopped in Odi-Olowo/Ojuwood Lcda,” he added.

By condemning the imposition of candidates, Daramola said that the party must not betray or suppress the will of the people.

He invited the members of the President Bola Tinubu, the Governor Sanwo-Ever and the members of the Covernance Council of Governance (GAC) to prevail over the APC electoral committee.

Daramola urged them, “to investigate what happened behind the close doors before counting the cards”.
