Maduka Okoye, elected Udinese MVP in May after his exploits in Serie A

Maduka Okoye has been named Udinese Calcio’s Most Valuable Player for May after a series of impressive performances for the Serie A side.

The Nigerian goalkeeper was recognized after playing a key role in Udinese’s strong end to the season, making several important saves and helping the club remain competitive during the final stretch of the campaign. Okoye’s impressive performances between the posts once again highlighted his growing influence at the Italian club.

The Super Eagles fired 10 clean sheets in Serie A and also earned a nomination for the league’s Player of the Month award after their consistent form in recent weeks.
