Naira depreciated by N7.01 to the dollar in the official window

The Nigerian currency, Naira, continued her stagnation in the US dollar on the official market on Wednesday.

Nigerian central bank data (CBN) shows that Naira is traded N1, 590.74/$ 1 compared to N1, 583.73/$ 1 for Tuesday.

This is the loss of N7.01 for local currencies.

In the black market, Naira lost N5 to the dollar to be traded in N1.625/$ 1 compared to the previous day level N1, 620/$ 1.

Naira lost N5 to the British pound to trade at N2.170/£ 1 compared to the previous N2.165/£ 1.

Naira continues to survive with Canadian dollars to trade at N1.200/Ca $ 1.

Naira closed the flat against the euro to be traded in ₦ 1,810/€ 1.
