Naira spilled N4.96 against the dollar in the official window

The Nigerian currency, Naira, was further depreciated by the US dollar in an official window on Thursday.

Central Bank Nigeria (CBN) foreign exchange data. It is certain that Naira is closed at N1.498.97/$ 1, as compared to N1.494.01/$ 1 which is traded on Wednesday.

This represents the depreciation of N4.96 for local currencies against American Greenback.

Naira obtained N5 against the dollar to trade at N1.530/$ 1, compared to the previous day level N1.535/$ 1.

Naira closes flatly against the British pound to trade at N2.100/£ 1.

Local currencies are also closed flat against Canadian dollars to be traded at N1.230/Ca $ 1.

However, the loss of N5 to the Euro to trade in ₦ 1,785/€ 1 compared to the previous day level ₦ 1,790/€ 1.
