EPL: Leeds United upsets Manchester United

Leeds United secured a historic 2-1 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford, ending a 45-year wait for a league win at the stadium.

Leeds striker Noah Okafor scored two goals in the first half, capitalizing on defensive errors to give the visitors a strong lead.

United’s challenge suffered a blow early in the second half when Lisandro Martinez was sent off after a VAR review for pulling Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s hair.

Despite being a man down, United pulled a goal back with a powerful header from Casemiro, but Leeds managed to hold on under pressure.

The result marked Leeds’ first league win at Old Trafford since 1979 and strengthened their fight against relegation, moving them to within six points of the drop zone.

Leeds, led by manager Daniel Farke, also remain in excellent form in all competitions as they prepare for their FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea.

For United, the defeat was a setback in their bid for a strong finish, as defensive errors and the red card proved costly in a tense encounter.
