The Senate of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, has appointed three new deputy Cancellieri (DVC) for the institution.
The information and protocol officer of the University, Jaafar Abubakar, revealed it in a declaration made available to Nigeria news agency (Nan) In Keffi Friday.
According to the declaration, the vice-changing of the University, Prof. Sa’adatu Liman, announced the appointments at the 129th regular meeting of the University of the Senate, held on Thursday at the Senate Chamber of the University.
Abubakar has also listed the new DVCs to include Prof. Muhammad Ari (academic), Dr. Halima Kutigi (Administration) and Dr. K’so ngharbu (research and innovations).
He said the appointments would become in force on July 7th.
The declaration explained that Ari, professor of animal nutrition in the Department of Animal Sciences, is the current dean, School of Postgraduate Studies.
βIn addition, Kutigi is a associate professor at the Faculty of Law, with a specialization in public and international law. He is the head of the Department of Islamic Law and current deputy dean of the Faculty.
βFinally, Ngharbu is associate professor and medical geologist. He is the current director of connections and international cooperation.
“It is also known for starting the first center for Medical Geology Research and the first center for European studies in Africa, both located in the University.”
