Ndlea intercepts cocaine, tramadolo hidden in the side mirrors of the vehicle at Lagos – Thage airport

The agents of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) intercepted shipments of cocaine and tramadol 225mg hidden in 71 mirrors on the side of the vehicle during the shed of the export of the Murtala Muhammed international airport (Mmia), Ikeja, Lagos.

The drugs were traveling to Libreville, Gabon, when the kidnapping was built. According to a declaration issued on Sunday by the Director of the Media and the Defense of the Agency, Femi Babafemi, three suspects related to the illicit load were arrested in follow-up operations.

The first shipment, intercepted on Saturday 19 July, contained 57,420 Plumadolo 225mg pills and 57 cocaine pellets weighing 1.60 kg. A well -known loading agent, Ihekweme Osinachi Benedict, who managed the expedition, was immediately arrested. Subsequent investigations led to the arrest of another suspicion, Uzochukwu Godspower Chukth, Sunday 20 July.

On Monday 21 July, the agents recovered another 11 pack of cocaine weight of 1 kg of four additional side mirrors found in the Uzochukwu residence, increasing total transport to 68 cocaine packages weighing 2.60 kg.

In a Related Development, in Businesswoman, Mrs. Nwaffor Roseann Nneka, Was Arrestted at Her Shop Within The Trade Fair Complex, Ojo, Lagos, On Friday, August 1 Agent—Concealed in Lipstick Tubes Destined for Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, via The Lagos Airport On July 10.

Two loading agents had been initially detained before Nneka arrest. He later confessed to having purchased the lipsticks used for the concealment, while his husband, Remigus Nwaffor – now in general, managed the package.

He praised the various commands for their efforts, president/CEO of Ndlea, Brig. General Mohamed Buba Marwa (RTD), urged the officers at national level to support the balanced approach of the agency in the current war against abuse and drug trafficking.
