Ndlea officers shot Abuja

Three officers of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Ndlea, were hospitalized for the hospital injuries suffered after being attacked by some armed men during a Raid operation in the Jahi area, in the territory of the federal capital, Abuja on Thursday evening.

The accident occurred when a team of NDLEA agents, who acts for intelligence and the surveillance report, broke into an incomplete building in the NNPC area of ​​Jahi where 74 bottles of codeine, 10 liters of codeine syrup, 48 grams of tramoline 225mg and 4.9kilograms of Skunk, a cannabis hinge, as well as five Android.

While the Ndlea team came out of the place, they attacked arms.

Three of the Ndlea staff involved in the Raid reported firearm injuries: one in the rib and two more on the back and leg.

The injured officers were initially stabilized at the police clinic in Area 1 of Garki before being transferred to the Abuja National Hospital for further medical treatments.

The President/CEO of Ndlea, Brig Gen Mohamed Buba Marwa (RTD), expressed appreciation for the staff of the police clinic for their rapid support.
He also thanked the medical director of the National Hospital who was personally reached by him for supervising the treatment of injured officers.

The boss of Ndlea, who is in Kano on official commitments, also spoke on the phone with the injured officers to wish them rapid recovery.

He assured them that the agency will implement every means at his disposal and work in collaboration with other security agencies to fish for those responsible for the attack on them.
