Nigeria and Benin drawn in Group D of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers

Nigeria have been drawn into Group D for the 2025 AFCON qualifiers alongside Benin, Libya and Rwanda.

In this draw, these teams will compete for the top 2 spots in the tournament that will be held in Morocco.

The preliminary round is scheduled to take place between 18 and 26 March 2024. The first and second rounds will be held from 2 to 10 September 2024. Subsequently, the third and fourth rounds are scheduled to take place between 7 and 15 September 2024.

The final rounds of the qualifiers are scheduled for 11-19 November 2024.

While Benin Republic will play under Gernot Rohr, Nigeria are yet to appoint a new coach following the resignation of Finidi George.
