Nigerian Air Force Announces Successful Candidates for Short Term Direct Service, Training Commencement Date

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has released the list of eligible candidates for the Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) Course 34/2025.

The announcement was made in a statement issued on Saturday in Abuja by the NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, Ehimen Ejodame.

According to the statement, the list was released following the completion of the selection board interview held at the NAF base in Kaduna between January 12 and February 8, 2026.

Eligible candidates have been advised to check their names on the official NAF recruitment portal for verification and further instructions.

Those selected are expected to commence a six-month cadet basic training program at the Nigerian Defense Academy (NDA), Afaka, Kaduna, starting April 18, 2026.

The Air Force said applicants must come with original credentials for documentation and admission.

Please note that failure to submit by 6pm on Monday 20 April will result in the automatic forfeiture of the offer.

The NAF further noted that only candidates who successfully complete training and are formally commissioned will be granted full officer status in the Service.
