NNPC revenue drops N165BN

Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC LTD) has reported a decrease in N165 billion revenue for July.

NNPC said in a summary of its monthly report-July 2025 that revenue fell to N4,406 trillion from N4,571 trillion recorded in June 2025, representing a decline of 3.59 percent.

Likewise, profit after tax (PAT) fell 79.56 percent to N185 billion in July from the N905 billion in June.

NNPC said that the figure reflects the cost of sales and income tax adjustments.

Providing details of production, state-owned oil companies note that crude oil and condensate production on average 1.7 million barrels per day (BPD) in July, while natural gas output is 7.72 million standard cubic feet every day (MSCFD).

In “strategic” efforts, NNPC said they maintain crude oil and condensate production, increase the uptime of production facilities, and a sustainable collaboration of stakeholders and operational efficiency.

“Ajauokuta-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) gas pipeline: Additional subcontractors used to accelerate the completion of the main work and fast project completion,” the report said.

The company has also begun implementing the revised execution strategy to the accelerated settlement of the Obiafu-Obrikom-Oben river crossing (OB3).
