Federal Capital Region Minister (FCT), Nyesom Wike, stated on Monday that no one could force him out of the Democratic Party (PDP).
Former Governor of the State Rivers at odds with the leadership of PDP for his role in the defeat of the party in the 2023 presidential election.
Last week, Wike blamed the Governor of the State of Oyo, Seyi Makinde, and his colleagues in the state of Enugu, Peter Mbah, for the prolonged crisis in the PDP and withdraw from the peace initiatives currently being supervised by the former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, in the party.

The minister, who spoke in a media chat in Abuja, insisted that no one had the authority or courage to fire him from the party he helped remained.
Wike stated that he had an unhappy commitment to the PDP and he would not be easily pushed out.
He said: “I am still in PDP. I work hard for the party.
“I haven’t seen anyone who has the guts to tell me, ‘Wike, you are not a party member.’ Who’s that?
