Oba Benin, Omo N’OBA N’EDO UKU Akpolookpolo, Ewuare II, officially overthrowing Ovbokhan Igbinovia, a traditional priest from the Okhuoromy community in the local government area in Oredo in the Edo state, for the actions of the alleged soldier.
The action was taken after being reviewed by the Palace of Imam’s behavior, which was considered a massive violation of Benin’s habits and traditions.
Announced a decision on the name of the king, Obazelu Benin, Head of Osaro Idah, spoke to the elders of the Okhuoromy community, led by their Odionwere (village head), PA. Oghagbon Edosomwan, who has now been mandated to oversee the affairs of the submerged community from the submerged Priest.
The head of Idah, accompanied by Oyeoba from Benin, Head of Isaac Oyeoba, and Ogua from Benin, Head of Uyi Okungbobowa, made a strong warning to community members during the speech, noting that the rejection of the king’s instructions would attract serious consequences.

“Anyone who is in conflict with direction will lead to the wrath of the law and ancestors,” said the Head of Idah.
Oba Ewuare II clarified that the throne of the Kingdom of Benin did not forgive illegality or support criminal behavior, and that the palace away from the actions taken by the former priest.
He urged the Okhuoromy to remain peaceful and refrain from retaliation or violence.
The king also offered certainty to the victims of alleged seizure and extortion, promising that justice will be delivered.
“The throne of Benin does not support the act of violation of the law and crime with any guise,” Oba said, emphasizing that everything that was influenced by the priest’s actions who were overthrown and his collaborator would be heard properly.
For this purpose, Oba Ewuare II revealed that the designated palace leaders would conduct further investigations to assess the level of damage carried out in the community.
He asked them with complaints to submit verified evidence. “People with these claims must channel their complaints with proof of picture of the appropriate authority,” he said.
