Olise joins Bayern on a five-year contract

Michael Olise has signed a five-year contract with German giants Bayer Munich after completing his move from Premier League club Crystal Palace.

Olise played half of Palace’s Premier League games last season due to a hamstring injury.

The 22-year-old England-born France Under-21 forward made 90 appearances in all competitions during three seasons with Palace.

He joined the Eagles from Reading for Β£8 million in July 2021.

β€œI am very happy to now be able to play for a big club – it is a great challenge and that is what I was looking for,” said Olise.

β€œI want to prove myself at this level and play a part in ensuring we win as many titles as possible in the years to come.”

Olise scored 10 goals in 19 Premier League appearances as Palace finished 10th in the table last season.

He will represent France at the Olympics, having been selected for the competition which starts in Paris later this month.
