Onyeka Onwenu buried in Lagos

 

The remains of popular singer Onyeka Onwenu have been buried in Lagos State.

Onwenu, popularly known as the “Elegant Stallion”, died on July 30, 2024, after collapsing during an event in Lagos.

The funeral, held at the Fountain of Life Church in Ilupeju area of ​​Lagos State, was followed by a private burial ceremony at Ebony Vaults in Ikoyi, on Friday, August 30.

Family, friends and supporters paid their last respects to the late singer as his body was lowered into his grave.

The late singer’s sons, Abraham and Tijani Ogunlende, expressed their gratitude for the outpouring of love and support from the public.
