Open questions for the championship of insurance eresce; Students, teachers included in N10.5m prizes

The Eredi insurance group, the more quickly growing insurance group of Nigeria, has opened the questions for the fourth edition of its annual championship of insurance essays, targeted to students of the Junior secondary schools at national level.
This year’s edition provides for prizes N10.5 million for students, teachers and winning schools, strengthening the group’s commitment to guide insurance awareness in an initial phase.

The winning student will receive a N5 million scholarship together with a subsidy for Education N1 million for their school. The first and second classified will respectively receive N2 million and N1 million scholarships.
In addition, themes and quizzes focused on insurance have been incorporated into the candidacy process for students, guaranteeing an early commitment with the concept of insurance.
To participate, students must send original essays no more than 500 words on the subject: “The role of the insurance in keeping families safe through the website, www.heirsinsurancegroup.com/essay. The presentations are open from 27 May to 8 July 2025. All items will be evaluated by famous academic, with a process of guaranteeing quality conducted by Deloitte & Touche to guarantee transparency and equity.
In a significant expansion of the initiative, the 2025 edition introduces the prize for the insurance awareness of teachers: a new category designed to recognize and reward teachers who actively promote insurance education within schools and communities.
For the prize for the insurance awareness of teachers (Tiap), the best teacher will receive a cash prize of 1 million, with an additional subsidy of 500,000 awarded to their school. To qualify, teachers must implement an insurance awareness project and provide evidence of their initiative and impact.

The championship of insurance essays heirs remains an initiative of corporate social responsibility flagships (CSR) of the Eredi insurance group, aimed at improving the results of education and deepening insurance awareness between the younger generations. The winners of the program will be announced at a big final event in August 2025.
