Opinion: The Eriti Akoko disintegrator: How Adeyanju is redefining the basic policy of North Ondo

When the story of the modern basic transformation to Ondo North is told, a name will probably echest in the communities – ENGR. Michael Abayomi Adeyanju.

At 55, Adeyanju is not marking his new chapter with quiet celebrations but with bold political actions. Born in Eriti Akoko, in the area of the local government of Akoko Northwest, he constantly built the reputation of disregarder in the wave policy, gaining recognition as a man who transforms progressive ideals into a tangible impact.

Far from the stereotype of a career politician, Adeyanju wears many hats: a business magnate, a philanthropist, a community mobilizer and a convinced believer in the ideology of the progressive change of all progressive congress (APC).

As General Manager of the Progressive Network, IPN), he leads a socio-political movement that remodeling conversations through Akoko, Owo and Ose-Denando to the rural communities forgotten a renewed sense of belonging for some time.

Unlike many politicians who thrive in promises and events, Adeyanju has opted for an action policy. In the communities such as Imeri, Oka Akoko, Akungba, Suare, Idoani and Imoru, the abandoned wells have been restored under his intervention, reporting clean water to families.

In Isuada, Owo, he has renewed a long -dragged health center, making health services accessible to residents again.

From free well to rural infrastructures, Adeyanju’s initiatives now dot the panorama of Ondo North – visible signs of what supporters describe as “leadership before the elections”.

Beyond the physical projects, its Empowerment initiatives have targeted education, entrepreneurship, the development of young people and political participation. Scholarships, scholarships and lighting programs have given hundreds of young people the opportunity to pursue dreams once suffocated by poverty.

For Adeyanju, Empowerment is not a strategy for the campaign but an investment supported in people. His supporters say that his policy is rooted in the commitment of tutoring and basic – values often missing in the political space of Ondo.

While the senatorial electoral approach of 2027, a dominant question emerges throughout the North: who can really represent the district?

Many residents argue that the answer lies in someone who has shown commitment long before the electoral cards are printed. For them, Adeyanju’s approach marks a round of paradigm-from patronage to performance and from the search for power to policy led by the service.

“He did not wait to be elected before having an impact. This is what we need: someone who sees us already before looking for our votes,” he told Platform Times, resident of Oka Akoko.

Another member of the Community of Imeri recalled: “The well here was forgotten. He came, he evaluated it and, in a few weeks, he worked. We did not even beg it.”

While Ondo North is preparing for another electoral cycle, the name of Adeyanju continues to dominate political discussions. Whether it formally declares for the Senate or not, many observers say that its approach is already redefining the basic policy in the region.

For supporters, the 55-year-old son of Eriti Akoko represents not only another politician, but the possibility of a new era-a-one built on integrity, fueled by vision and rooted in the service of people.
