Osimhen’s agent denies Chelsea loan rumours

Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has not made any official moves this summer and remains a Napoli player, his agent says.

Roberto Calenda’s agent on Tuesday called reports of his client’s love for Chelsea “fake news”.

The revelation comes after reports claimed Napoli and Chelsea were in talks to bring Osimhen to Stamford Bridge on loan.

The deal, according to The Athletic, is expected to include a buy option.

Reports also claim Belgium international Romelu Lukaku will also move to Napoli on a permanent transfer as part of the deal.

But Calenda said there was no truth to the story.

He wrote on X: “I have read about baseless imaginary trades involving Victor, delivered like packages ready to be shipped.

“But remember that this “package” is the third highest scudetto scorer in Napoli’s history. Respect and no more fake news!”
