Paris 2024: Adeshina is on the verge of making the final

Nigeria’s Temitope Adeshina narrowly missed out on advancing to the women’s high jump final, finishing 19th overall with a height of 1.88 metres.

Adeshina began her Olympic debut with a successful opening jump of 1.83 metres.

He suffered a setback at 1.88 metres, failing on his first attempt but clearing the bar on his second try.

However, Adeshina was unable to clear the 1.92-meter mark, failing all her attempts and ending her participation in the competition.

National champion Adeshina is only the second Nigerian to compete in the high jump at the Olympics, after Doreen Amata, who represented Nigeria at the 2008 and 2016 Games.
