Passengers ‘Difficult to Regulate’ at Ibom Air Flight who were charged with court, sent to prison

Comfort Emmanson, a difficult passenger who attacked members of the Air Ibom flight crew to Lagos had been charged with court.

Passengers created scenes at Murtala Muhammated International Airport, Lagos, when he attacked cabin crew members on Sunday.

Tunde Moshood, a special advisor to the media and communication to the Minister of Aerospace and Development of Aerospace, said in a statement on Monday afternoon that Emmanson is currently “cooling ‘at the Kirikiri correction facility.

Ibom Air, in a statement on Monday, said the passenger was instructed in accordance with standard flight safety procedures to turn off his cellphone.

“He frankly refused to obey until the pilot-in-command made the announcement, after that a colleague of passengers sat beside him took the phone and turned it off.

“Upon arrival in Lagos, he became cruel and attacked airline officials before he was forcibly moved from the plane and handed over to security officials,” the agent said.
