A Democratic Party Chief (PDP), Head of Segun Adewale, on Friday described the former Vice President Atiku Abubakar is the Nigerian Messiah needs to overcome economic challenges and others.
Adewale, a former PDP chairman at Lagos State, told reporters that no one had to erase Atiku politically or asked him to leave the party.
Some prominent PDP members, including the former Deputy Chairperson of the National, Head of Olabode George and former Governor Ayo Fayose from the new Ekiti state, advised the former Vice President to bring down his 2027 President’s ambitions.
George on Wednesday told Atiku to immediately resign from PDP for alleged anti-party activities, Fayose said he would work against his president’s ambitions, if he decided to fight in 2027.
However, Adewale, known as Aeroland, said that no one had to act as a god of the ambition of the former vice president.
Adewale said: “He (Atiku) has been tested and tried as part of several politicians with satisfaction, and he never gave up.
“He has been in power, he understands Nigerian politics. He knows our challenges compared to other politicians who only want to take the power to get wealth.

“Atiku is one of the politicians that I know that is satisfied with whatever he has. Most of the other politicians, such as the critics, are servants.
“It is unfortunate that the endless opposition that Atiku has is still in PDP, his party, even outside PDP.
“Unfortunately, PDP members are still the only one who opposes the Atiku coalition planned to defeat the Congress of all Progressive (APC) in power for the PDP, and return the party to power.
“Anyone in the PDP who says Atiku should not fight in 2027 to work for opposition and not for parties or countries.
“They work for their pockets; Therefore, they should not be heard. We must dispose of their opinions.
“All different voices at our parties work for their stomachs, not for Nigeria.”
He stated that no opposition party could defeat APC alone, even Mr. Peter Obi from the Labor Party.
