Armed men kidnap the permanent secretary in the nasarawa

Armed people have kidnapped the permanent secretary at the Ministry of Information, Tourism, and Culture of the Nasarawa state, Barr. Yusuf Musa.

Spokesman for the State Police Command, Rahman Nankel, confirmed the incident to journalists on Tuesday at the Lafia.

He said the secretary was still kidnapped from his residence in the Shinge Lafia area in the early morning.

The statement reads: “Around 030 years, on Tuesday, July 1525, a patrol team from Division B, Lafia, found the Van Pick-up Peugeot with all the doors left wide open in a suspicious way.

“After the inspection is closer, officers observe that the gate to the victim’s residence is also teaching, encouraging immediate security issues.

“The search for the place confirmed that the permanent secretary was missing, along with the registration number of the GMC vehicle KUJ 88 PA.

“After the discovery, the Commissioner of the State Police, Shetima Jauro Mohammed, activated tactical operations in the Nasarawa, including divisions in Akwanga, Andaha, Garaku, and Kadarko, while supervision was mobilized along the key routes to intercept the suspects.

“The CP has ordered hunting in all intensive states and reaffirms unwavering command commitments to ensure safe rescue of victims and direct understanding of those who are behind the action.”
