The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will hold the final round of its Edo State governorship election campaign on September 14.
Chairman of the PDP National Campaign Council for the Edo State governorship election, Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja.
The Delta State Governor duo, Sheriff Oborevwori and his Taraba State counterpart, Kefas Agbu, are the vice chairmen of the council.
The Edo state gubernatorial election will take place on September 21.

The statement read: “The National Campaign Council and State Campaign Councils of the Peoples Democratic Party hereby invite leaders and members of the PDP, including Governors, former Presidents and Vice Presidents, members of the National Assembly, former Governors and Deputy Governors, members of State Assemblies, and all members and supporters of the PDP, among others to the Grand Finale of the 2024 Edo State Governorship Election Campaign.
“This auspicious event is scheduled to hold on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 10:00 am at the Garrick Memorial Grammar School Grounds, Ekehuan Road, Benin City.
“This event will mark the conclusion of the September 21 governorship election campaign in Edo State and determine the party’s course of victory on Election Day.’
