Petition NCAA AGF, IGP to demand Wasiu Ayinde for unjusting behavior

The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has petitioned the Attorney-general of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi and the Inspector-General of Police, the Egbetokun Kayode to Launch a Thorough Investigation Ayinde Marshal, Popularly Known as K1 De Ultimate and Domestic Airline, ValueJet.

In his letter to AGF and IGP, the agency called for “comprehensive criminal investigations and prosecution in accordance with the provisions of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Regulations (NIG. CARS) 2023 Supra and all other applicable laws”.

The incident, which occurred on Tuesday, reportedly interfered with standard operational procedures and raised concerns over the behavior of passengers and airline safety protocols.

According to a preliminary report, during the VKEJET FLIGHT VK201 schedule, K1 de Ultimate was allegedly involved in actions that violate Nigerian civil aviation regulations.

While the complete details of the incident are still being prepared, NCAA has stressed the importance of upholding flight safety standards and ensuring accountability, regardless of the parties involved.
