Police Save Egyptians in Oyo

Police operations in the state of Oyo have saved an Egyptian.

The victim was kidnapped in early Monday in Ibadan.

Spokesman for the State Police Command, Adewale Osifeso, confirmed the rescue of the victim in a statement on Tuesday.

Osifeso said the Egyptians were kidnapped in the Alomaja area in IDI-Ayunre in the Capital of the State.

“Through careful planning, intelligence analysis, and fast response, the joint team managed to find individuals who were kidnapped after the search for forest area and the border area between Ogun and Oyo countries.

“The rescue operation reaches a safe return of victims without the stated ransom.

“The victim will be reunited with his family after undergoing all the medical interventions needed at the Police Hospital, Eleyele, Ibadan,” added the spokesman.
