When Shakespeare in his famous book Macbeth wrote and I mention “When the beggars die they are not seen as the comets, but the skies slapped the death of the principles”, it was as if he had had the mother Ezinne Isabelle Amarahiaugwu Gold Korie (Nee Agwatu) in mind when he made those famous words in mind.
Of course, but needless to say that it was perfect because the death of Ezinne Nmaa Gold Korie woke up the skies to dare his glory as he walked in Heaven.
Sitting with his son, a scholar, historian and educator worthy of note, Sunday (25/05/2025), one could imagine the love and mother of the bond shared with his children and how the children felt, without worrying about his age.
The gold mother can therefore be adequately described as a girl of fate by the bowels of her mother’s uterus.
An assessment of his life from the tender age of five years when he has lost his parents and has become orphaned will reveal a woman intended for birth to recite very important and strategic roles in her immediate environment, in particular the family and society.
It is something of joy that has not disappointed; Therefore, this celebration of a life has lived for God and humanity.
Born on May 20, 1938 in the family of the deceased Mr. Ibejimemene and Mrs. Ihudie Agwatu by Uruevu, Okirika Nweke in Asiazu Mbaise area of ββthe local government of the state of imo, Ezinne Isabelle Amarahaiagwu Gold Korie (Nee Agwatu) has lost her parents at the very tender age of 5 years.
So, from an early age, there was responsibility for taking care of other members of his family, in particular his nephew who became his surrogate mother, herself a child.
To go on in life since life was treated by a hard hand, her mother trained as a seamstress under Akpim’s lady in Okrika Nweke in 1952, a profession often associated with fashion design until she married her deceased husband, Mr. Linus Onyegbule Korie at the age of 16. Because of her young age, she was unable to be married by her husband, then after the next two years with her family until she turned 18.
Their union was blessed with ten children, five males and five females, and they are all alive today by grace of God
Ezinne Isabelle Amarahiaugwu Gold Korie was not only a wife but an entrepreneur who started his negotiation activity in tobacco between 1965 and 1972; Get goods from Umuaia and resell locally. Since 1972, he has sold palm oil and continued in that for about a decade and was also a bread distributor. He has further engaged in other commercial activities, including agriculture and has not allowed his limited resources to be an obstacle to the formation of his children and help others.
Ezinne Gold was a devoted wife who worked deeply about her family and had the most demanding time of her life between 1967 and 1970 when her husband was enrolled in the Biafra army in the Apoukwu market towards the end of the war. In her desperation to get her loving husband with a child of a few months on his back and a basket in his head, he looked for her husband, despite the risk of leaving his other children by one of his neighbors, a Mrs. Grace Chidomere. His Odyssey was not only an act of self -sacrifice, but a revelation of his profound devotion for her husband and family and endured her to her husband.

While it is engaged in Mother Earth, it is remembered that death remains the relentless and adamant enemy of humanity.
Nobody, regardless of rank, strength or wealth has been able to escape death because as soon as we are born, death becomes our destiny. Many tried but nobody was able to develop his antidote. The reality of the resurrection of Our Lord and Salvatore, Jesus Christ, however, is that death has been defeated. It is no longer an impregnable enemy since Christ marched through the doors of Hades and claimed a decisive victory over death, assuring ourselves that like his fofsonni we also share in his victory. Christians do not need to fear death.
Ezinne did not die but he transit to share the glory of God. Strallously John women in his poetry, “death is not proud” wondered why death should get to get to have sent people to sleep; To their eternal rest exactly where the NMAA ORO is currently located.
The end of Ezinne Isabelle Amarahiaugwu Gold Korie was an active member of the Roman Catholic Church of the parish of Ihitteafaukwu, where he was a member of their biblical study group. Until his death, he was also a member of the Christian Mother Association and Medal (holder of the title of Ezinne) gave them to her from the parish of San Gregorio, Ihitteafaukwu.
During her life, Ezinne Gold was a true definition of virtuous woman; A mother of all (Nne Oha) and has never discriminated against anyone. It is no wonder that it is much loved by all those who have gone through its path. In fact, it has a heart of gold, very peaceful and has practiced 100% of the biblical junction in Jews 12:14, “he pursues peace with all people and holiness without whom no one will see God”.
He also dedicated his time to the service to the community with his belonging to various groups of churches, including CWO, Felicity and Cdiu and was the treasurer of the women’s group of his relationship until his death and together with his sister he formed an association of mutual help that is still at the beginning. He taught his children and whoever approached them to the virtues of perseverance in any situation and has instilled the spirit of unity and mutual love in them.
He was a peace preacher, even until his last breath.
Ezinne Gold Korie, God wrote the final chapter of your life, which will start on your speech, while it ends here.
It is as beautiful as the Bible says: “He will erase every tear from their eyes and there will no longer be death or pain or cry for pain. All these things have gone forever” – Rev 21: 4.
While you make your last trip to eternity where God will remove all your pains,
There will be no more death, pain, crying or pain. Such are reserved for us still here. We do not know how much we would like, but it is enough to know that eternity with God will be more wonderful than we can ever imagine.
The depth of John Women’s poetry “Death is not proud” is appreciated more because with you, Ezinne, death is dead, “a short sleep, we wake up eternally and death will no longer be; death dies”
Come on Friday 13 June 2025, his family, his friends, his in -laws, relatives and supporters of the house of Korie to Umucieze Ihitteafaukwu to pay their last compared to a woman whose house was open to many who knew her
