First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has expressed her deep admiration for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he celebrated his 74th birthday, expressing her pride and affection for him in a heartfelt message.
“I love you and I am so proud of you,” he said in his tribute to the President on Sunday.
Despite this, President Tinubu chose to hold a low-key celebration, considering the current national situation and the challenges facing the country.
In a message addressed to the Nigerian people, the President reflected on the reform measures introduced by his administration, acknowledging the hardships his country’s citizens are experiencing while maintaining optimism for the country’s future.
He pointed out that despite the difficulties – including the impact of the Middle East crisis – there were signs of improvement. According to him, the sacrifices made by Nigerians are starting to bear fruit, with “a light at the end of the tunnel.”
Tinubu reiterated his administration’s resolve to address pressing national issues, and expressed confidence that Nigeria’s continued support will help the country overcome its challenges.
