Remo Soll: PDP accuses inhabitun of threatening monarchs before Remo Bye Election

The chapter of the state of Ogun of the Democratic Party of the peoples has accused the governor Dapo inhabitaun of presumably threatening to lay some traditional sovereigns in the axis of Remo if the all progressive congress loses the imminent federal electoral college of Remo who was scheduled for Saturday 16 August.

The party, in a declaration issued on Tuesday by its advertising secretary, Otunba Kayodo Adebayo, said that the governor convened the monarchs selected at a secret meeting on Friday 8 August, where he presumably warned them of removal from the office if the APC suffered from defeating in their domains.

By describing the alleged action as “a desecration of the holiness of traditional institutions”, the PDP warned the governor against drag the real fathers into partisan politics.

The declaration recited in part: “Our real fathers are custodians of culture and tradition, not political tools. Threats with removal if your party loses the elections is both shameful and non -democratic”.

The PDP accused the administration led by the APC of resorting to intimidation in front of the surname of public support, insisting on the fact that the hello elections would be decided by the will of the people and not by coercion.

“As the farewell elections approach, how many real fathers can threaten inhabitun? The citizens of Ogun must be authorized to choose their representatives freely without fear,” added the declaration.

The opposition party also urged the leadership of the APC to warn the governor against, stating that political despair was undermining public trust.

While sympathizing with the affected monarchs, the PDP promised a continuous commitment with traditional sovereigns “with the utmost respect and respect”, ensuring that real concerns would remain a priority if the party returned to power.

At the time of the press, the governor inhaboun and the APC still had to respond to the accusations.

The head secretary of the governor’s chief, Lekan Adeniran did not respond to the message sent to his mobile phone at the time of the presentation of this report.
