Rivers: Ibas appoints administrators for 23 councils, reconstitutes the boards of directors of Parastali, agencies

The only administrator of Rivers State, the deputy admiral Ibkette Ibas (RTD), appointed administrators to manage the affairs of the 23 areas of the local government of the State.

Ibas also reconstituted the boards of directors of all the parastatal and the government agencies in the state of the rivers.

According to a declaration by the Secretary of the State Government, prof. Ibibia Lucky Worika, all appointments have entered into force from Monday 7 April 2025.

His excellence The administrator of the State of Rivers, Vice Admiral (RTD) IBOK-ETE EKWE IBAS CFR, approved the appointments of the administrators for the 23 areas of the local government of the state of sparrows.

He also approved the reconstitution of some boards of directors, commissions and parastali, previously suspended.

All appointments have effect from Monday 7 April 2025
