The terrorists suspected of being members of the Boko Haram attacked the Yamtake community in the area of โ€‹โ€‹the local government of Gwoza in the state of Borno.

Yamtake is one of the communities in which the indoor displaced people (IDP) have recently been rebooted by the Borno state government.

The senator of the south of Borno, Ali Ndume, said that the attack, which occurred on Thursday evening, left two soldiers and a non -disclosed number of civilian civilians.

“It is very sad that two soldiers paid the supreme price, while an unspecified number of innocent civilians was among the victims,” โ€‹โ€‹he said.

Ndume urged the federal government to support the military with advanced technology, equipment, weapons, ammunition and motivation.

“So let me use this opportunity to defend the establishment of the defense of the armed community to integrate the efforts of the military. This is because the men of the Civil Joint Task Force (CJTF), Hunters and Vigilantes have done their best, but have limits, while they only bring harmful pistols, sticks, which have found very difficult to confuse terrorists,” he said.
