Suspicious thugs kill the NSCDC officer

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), Jigawa State Command, confirmed the killing of his officer by suspicious hooligans at the weekly market of Shuwarin in the Shuwarin district, in the area of the local government of Kiyawa of the state.

Confirming the accident to journalists in Dutse on Monday, the spokesperson for the command, Mr. Badaruddin Tijjani, said that the accident occurred around 13:30, when the deceased agent went for official operations on the market.

He explained that the deceased, Bashir Adamu-Jibril, superintendent of the body (SC), was from the Department of Intelligence and investigation to the command before his death.

The spokesman added that the thugs, suspected of being butchers, presumably combined the deceased, tearing the back of the head.

“The officer was attached to the market kara (Slaughter Slab) where he participated in the official operations to arrest some suspicious negative elements,” said the spokesman.

According to him, the officer was confused dead by the doctor on duty at the Dutse General Hospital, where he was brought about medical care.

Tijjani said the body has so far arrested three people in relation to the case.

“The deceased official was prepared for the funeral rites and currently we are traveling to Kano where he will be buried”.
