Abuja (basic reporter) The rapporteur of the Chamber of Representatives RT. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, greeted his colleagues for the proactivity and productivity of the tenth house since his inauguration almost two years ago. We have introduced a record number of invoices and a volume of legislative proposals that has no previous in this phase of any assembly.

“More important than quantity, however, is the impact: these invoices and movements are oriented to the critical reforms urgently that our country needs. Yeah, many of the significant invoices that we have approved have received the presidential consent.”

The speaker said that dialogue is “a clear demonstration of our shared effort to promote parliamentary responsibility, transparency and a legislature truly guided by citizens”.

While remembering how the tenth house has committed himself to committing himself regularly with the Nigerians, reporting on his performance and regulating his course based on people’s feedback, the speaker has noticed that the dialogue is part of that promise, “acting as a precursor of next week open Nass, where we open our doors to scrutinize and present our progress of Middle Ages”.

Likewise, the vice -president RT Hon Benjamin Okezie Kalu while presented his welcome speech recognized the inspiring leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, whose renewed agenda of hope redefined the trajectory of the development of Nigeria. According to him, “our legislative agenda to eight pillars, driven directly from the attached document” Legislative Agenda 2.0 “and structured to support the eight -point plan of the president, includes:

1, Good Governance & Anti-Corruption: Modernization of e-parish, expansion of supervision of control and separation of managerial functions.

3 Amendments to the law on access to the student loan; and the expansion of the wellness system of young nationals.

5. Economic growth and diversification: citizenship for investment, repeal of the ban on export and commercial agricultural credit system.

6. Tax federalism and resource control: devolution of mineral and water rights, realignment for the sharing of revenue and the revenue invoice (account of the Federation).

7. Environmental sustainability: Establishment of the Fund for climate change of Nigeria, commission for the regulation of bio-free energy and amendments to the Commission for the development of hydroelectric energy production areas.
