The 67th NMS parade: Coas tasks that transmit boys on discipline, resilient, patriotic

Zaira (basic reporter) The head of the army staff (Coas), the lieutenant general Olufemi Oluyede has accused the children of transfer of being young disciplined, resilient and patriotic young people. This, while the Nigerian military school (NMS) celebrated its 67th parade on Saturday 9 August 2025 in style.

The Coasses, who was the special guest of honor in his address, congratulates the boys for their success, describing it as a testimony of their hard work, resilience and commitment for the values of duty, discipline and patriotism.

He noticed that in the last six years, the boys have passed the physical and mental challenges that have requested their best. “You learned the essence of teamwork, altruism and integrity,” he said. “These experiences have modeled you in soldiers, guardians of our sovereignty, defenders of our democracy and symbols of national pride.”

General Oluyede, who was represented at the parade of disappearance by the general officer who commanded 1 General Division Mayirenso Saraso also reiterated his philosophy of command, which is anchored to promptness, operational effectiveness, solid administration and cooperation with the interested parties. He underlined the importance of the concept of “First Soldier”, which gives priority to the well -being and morality of the soldiers.

According to the Coas, the Nigerian army continued to invest in improving life conditions, wellness patterns and career development policies for his staff.

Basic journalists report that, as part of the celebrations, various projects have been commissioned, including the Calabar Company Removeded, the NMS House and the PSO House. The event ended with a group photography of dignitaries.
