The President’s Special Assistant of the President for Citizenship and Leadership, Mrs. Rinnsola Abiola, described the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as central.

The daughter of the acclaimed winner of the presidential elections of 12 June 1993, Mko Abiola, said that Tinubu is giving priority to issues around young people with the appointment of a truly youthful minister, the first for a long time.

Mrs. Abiola declared him in her welcome address to the special Ramadan Lecture and Iftar organized by her organization in Abokuta, the capital of the state of Ogun.

He added that the national conference proposal for young people and the subsequent inauguration of the organizing committee are a testimony of the administrative vision of Tinubu to face the electoral college of young people.

“I will not be here if the young people were not central to this administration. Mr. President recently constituted the National Committee of the Youth Conference, of which I also happen to be a member.

“We have representatives of civil society organizations, so these are not political parties and this is why you will discover that even within that committee that many people who actually have nothing to do with the APC, and then the people who have represented the interest of young people for a long time was what he spoke for the community

“So we have a very diversified interest represented and what we are working on now is to design a very wide advice. So, please, surely for those of us who are up there we also come from a background of the rise, so we know what our youth want.

“I am one of the young people appointed in this current administration and everything that further demonstrates that the president holds young people in very high esteem.

“For the first time we have a really young youth minister. We have a student loan background of which I am sure you are all aware of which you should help us fill the gap between the Haves and the non and this contributes to having a more uniform playing field for young people.

“So this is certainly an administration that holds young people so dear. Mr. President is a great lover of young people and made him very clear since during his campaign and every action he has undertaken since then he has shown that he is actually very busy.

“Mr. President Vision is a process very guided by young people who guarantees that the perspectives of our young people are very welcome,” he said.
