The Benue Assembly approved Gov Alia’s request to appoint another 10. Special advisor

The Benue State Council Council on Thursday approved the request of Governor Hyacinth Alia to appoint 10 additional special advisers.

This follows the consideration of the Governor’s letter read out by the Speaker of the House of Representatives Alfred Emerga, during the plenary in Makurdi.

Governor Alia filed an appeal on the consideration of fast demand, said special advisers were required to strengthen his government.

The speaker, after that, submitted a request to votes with parliamentary members in a round voice giving the governor of the green light to appoint 10 more advisers.
