The chief amarachi Kingsley Ogu conferred Ugwumba 1 by Mbaise

The Council of traditional sovereigns of Mbaise awarded the unusual and prestigious title of “Ugwumba 1 of Mbaise” on the chief Amarachi Kingsley Ogu.

The colorful event took place on Sunday 14 September 2025, in the Palazzo of the President of the Council of Traditional Sovereigns, HRM Eze Leo Nwokocha, with Monarchi di Abah, Asiazu and Ezinihitte.

The Ogu leader, originally from the autonomous community of Lude, Ahiara, was honored for his philanthropy, leadership quality and constant support for the well -being of the people of Mbaise both at home and abroad.

The traditional sovereign of Lude, Hrh Eze Cyril Uwaoma, personally read the quote of the Ogu Capo, describing it as a man whose life and generosity life touched countless lives.

With the title of Ugwumba 1 of Mbaise, the traditional sovereigns have affirmed their trust in the Ogu leader as a shining example of dedication to his people and prayed for the continuous guide of God in his service to humanity.
