The Emma Njoku Foundation authorizes 300 young Nigerians in training on agricultural skills

With a significant move to combat youth unemployment and promote agricultural innovation, the Emma Njoku Foundation has launched an important program of acquisition of agricultural skills, enhancing 300 young Nigerians. The initiative, hosted at the CSS Global Integrated Farms Ltd in Gora, Nasarawa’s state, attracts participants by three hydrographic basins: IMO State, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and Taraba State.

The first lot of participants, who included young people selected by the State of Imo, started for Nasarawa on Friday 9 May 2025, where they joined their counterparts from the FCT and Taraba. These young people are currently in intensive formation in modern agricultural techniques, agro-deffarious models and sustainable agricultural practices as part of the Empowerment program of the Foundation’s agricultural technology.

According to the Hon. Chidi Anyanwu, a former supervisor for works in the local government area of ​​about Mbaise and personal assistant in Barr. Emmanuel C. Njoku, the Foundation is committed to creating a new generation of agro-entrepreneurs through practical training and tutoring.

“The Emma Njoku Foundation is investing in the future of our young people by equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in the agricultural sector”, Hon. Anyanwu said.

The second lot of trainees should start training in two weeks, immediately after graduation from the current participants.

The Emma Njoku Foundation continues to play a fundamental role in the development of young people, with particular attention to agriculture as a tool for economic transformation and self -sufficiency.
