The FCT command launches the probe in the death of Female Lodger in Gwarinpa Hotel – Thage

The police commissioner, the FCT command, Ajao Adrewale, ordered an in -depth and discreet investigation on the death of a young woman in a hotel room in Gwarimpa.

This, according to a declaration of SP Josephine Adeh, spokesman for the FCT command, is to reveal the circumstances of death.

The declaration states: “The preliminary investigation reveals that the victim, identified as Aladi Offikwu Johnson, also known as Tessy, who came from the Benue State, according to what was reported, was recorded in a hotel located in the 3A Avenue, Gwarinpa, on June 16, 2025, in the company of an unidentified male, who subsequently observed that he had come out of her without her.

“The victim was unconscious discovered by the hotel staff during the routine service rounds, causing immediate notification to the police. It was confirmed dead in medical evaluation”.

While the investigations continue, the police commissioner invited the members of the public to remain calm and allow the police to carry out a complete investigation.

Likewise, the CP Ajao Adwale has appealed to young women to pay attention to their interactions, in particular with unknown individuals, and to always share where they were with friends of trusted or family for safety purposes.

The command while commissioned with the deceased’s family, he assured them that every effort is made to make the authors justice.

CP Adwale also invited hotel operators to strengthen internal security protocols, including the verification of the compulsory identity for guests and the installation of functional surveillance systems to help both the deterrence and investigations.
