“Some credible sources have revealed that the famous bandit Gembong, Bello Turji, allegedly made a peace offer after the death of his commander and cousin in the top field, Kachalla Yellow and Bokolo, who had just been neutralized by security operators,” Makama said.
“Turji, one of the most sought -after terror leaders in Nigeria’s North West, said to call for meetings with other bandits, reported to discuss the possibility of surrendering and conducting dialogue with the government from three northwest states.
“Pivot Turji who suddenly to peace may be directly related to the loss of and Bokolo, which serves as a terror network machine, regulates and implementing mass violence, ambush and abduction throughout the states of Zamfara, Sokoto, and Katsina.
“Most of Turji is a public face. Danbokolo who leads combat troops, runs logistics, and enforces their authority in the forest corridor. This is the first time he is completely exposed. Without and Danbokolo, its operational muscles are paralyzed.
“Danbokolo was seriously injured during the June 23 operation by the State Service Department (DSS) and hybrid troops in the village of Chida, Fakai Shinkafi Lga District. He died three days later on June 26, after being moved in several villages in an effort to fail by his warriors to save his lives.
“The opening of Turji at this time may not be due to sincere repentance but tactical response to increased pressure and operational losses.
“Security bodies have not officially commented on the reported Turji peace movement, although analysts give advice, warning that any involvement must be how to neutralize it.
“Turji should not be forgiven. The government must refuse its request to surrender.”
