NNPC Ltd Revenue reached N6TR as profit to N1.05Trn in May

Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC LTD) has reported profit after tax (PAT) N1.05 trillion for May 2025.

In his new report, entitled ‘Summary of NNPC Limited Monthly Reports May 2025’, the national oil company said the figure increased 29.03 percent from the N748 billion in April.

The company revealed it recorded N6 trillion revenues in the same period up 1.87 percent of N5.89 trillion.

State oil company said it made a legal payment of N5.58 trillion for May 2025.

“All financial numbers are temporary and not audited,” said the oil company.

According to NNPC, crude oil and condensate production averaged 1.62 million barrels per day (BPD) in May, while natural gas production was 7.35 million cubic feet standard every day.

The company clarifies that the numbers are temporary and only reflects its operations, not including data from independent operators reported by the Nigerian Upstream Oil Regulation Commission (NUPRC).

The company said the availability of gasoline at the NNPC Retail Limited Station was established at 62 percent for a month, adding that the reliability of upstream pipes was 98 percent.

According to the national oil firm, technical intervention developed on the AKK gas pipeline project to complete the challenges of the Niger River crossing.

NNPC said they also conducted a detailed evaluation of the Ob3 River Niger crossing to determine the best project execution pathways going forward.

“Sustainable collaboration with venture partners to accelerate the increase in sustainable production,” said the national oil firm.

NNPC said that they completed the maintenance of Turnaround (TAM) in May for the Trans Escravos (TEP) pipe, Oil Mining Rental (OML) 40 Opuama Flow Stations, and OML 17 Obigbo and Agbada stations.

The oil company also said the Port Harcourt, Warri and Kaduna refineries were being reviewed that month.
