The Nigerian Police (NPF) has denied rumors recently made a round on social media that Ihabo Ojo, a famous Nollywood actress, has been registered as desired.

The police have not submitted an arrest order or want a proclamation of the actress, according to a statement posted on X (previously Twitter).

In addition, the statement characterized a report as inaccurate, deceptive, and able to incite unreasonable public fear.

According to the police, the “desired notification” that was scattered about the actress was not issued by the troops and was inaccurate and deceptive.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, the poster – which included a portrait of Yabo Ojo and words “special police desired” – viral on social media, raised comments from Nigeria.
